Our Employee Training & Learning Center is designed to help you connect with your ideal restaurant job. We hope you’ve decided to create a free SlingHires account and start getting noticed by employers today!

How it Works

Once you have signed up, follow these simple steps:

• Complete the online application
   
• Upload a resume (optional)
   
• Upload a recent photo 

You’ll find tips for making a great impression below in our Employee Resource Center. Hiring employers will have access to your details, putting your experience and skills in the spotlight for all available opportunities. Our system lets employers contact you as soon as openings become available.  You don’t need to search for job postings or drop off resumes and hope a job opens up – employers looking for your skill set contact you directly when they have a position to fill.
 
Because we want to strengthen the Arizona restaurant community, we’ll even reward you with a free gift card once you’re hired by a participating employer.  Just submit your reward request after you’re hired.

Employee Learning Center

Here are some tips on completing your application from our employee learning center:

• Be truthful. Your signature on the application acknowledges that the information is accurate
   
• Follow directions carefully
   
• Before you start the application, create a list of your education and employment history.  Include dates and job duties for each position
   
• Think of all of your responsibilities in each position. What did your employer count on you for?  Did you perform extra duties or pitch in for others when needed? Did you grow in your position?  Details are important
   
• What personal strengths do you bring to your work environment?
   
• References from past employers are valuable employee resources in the hiring process.
   
• Read over your application before submitting to make sure it is complete and there are no errors. 

When submitting your photo, follow these tips from our Employee Learning Center:

• Take a clear photo, usually from the chest up. Employers want to see your face!  Most smart phones can take good quality photos that can be uploaded online
   
• Wear a clean shirt (collared or plain colored t-shirt) and look professional, friendly and well-groomed
   
• Smile!
